It was a very nice dining experience, it has a cosy & quiet atmosphere, the staff is absolutely professional, well presented meals are mouthful and the cocktails are delicious.

Never had a bad meal or experience at The Lively Catch - Food is superb , staff are so friendly and attentive - the atmosphere is cosy and quiet so you can have a conversation - no view but all else makes up for that 10/10 😄

Went here for my mums birthday as she's always wanted to go. We ordered 3 mains, 1 bottle of beer and a soft drink and one dessert. Also had a corkage (fine). My duck was $38 so I was expecting to get quite a bit. As you can see from the photo, it was a tiny serving of 3 chewy pieces of duck. It was nice....... but honestly it wasn't great. Very flavoursome when you first put it in your mouth then not much flavour, and it was quite chewy. I've had better at Asian restaurants for half the price. My dads steak was even more and it was also pretty small. He also said it was nice but not enough. My mum ordered the fish and had a dessert in which she was satisfied. All up the bill was just shy of $180. Even more disappointing is that we ended up walking straight over to the maccas across the road to fill ourselves up. I'm sorry but after spending almost $200 I should not have to walk out starving. The food is alright but this place is a rip off and I won't be back.

Very enjoyable experience at Lively catch Staff very courteous and attentive and food was faultless. Hubby and I enjoyed our 2 courses seafood platter immensely. Highly recommend 👌

The freshest seafood platter I have had in a long time. I love that it comes in 2 separate platters-first course entree platter and then the main platter. Service is great and, just the freshest food. The sashimi is to die for. Gives a lot of fancier restaurants in Cronulla a run for their money.

Photos don't do this amazing beautiful food justice. Can't fault a thing. Simply beautifully cooked seafood, melt in your mouth and awesome service. Definitely will go back again !

Had a really enjoyable date night there, Robert was our waiter who was not only very attentive but very friendly and provided far beyond expected service, made us feel very welcome. We got the seafood platter, served over several courses and it was very enjoyable, great mix and well matched for each course leaving us very happy with our choice, serving sizes were great too, had just enough room left to share a desert which was also very delicious. We will certainly be back. Thank you for hosting us :)

This restaurant is one of the best if not the best restaurant I’ve eaten at. The service is wonderful, cocktails are fantastic and the food is absolutely heavenly. Highly recommended.
